Return Policy
 

30-Day Return Policy
We take pride in our reputation for quality and value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase we'll assist you with a refund. Returns will be accepted only up to 30 days from receipt of the product(s). Unfortunately, we can not offer you a refund or exchange after 30 days of receiving the item(s). The item(s) must be returned in new condition (unused), in the original box (if possible), and with a note specifying your order number and the reason for the exchange or return. Please pack the item(s) as you've originally received them, securely. You may send your return with any carrier (FedEx, USPS, or UPS) you wish as long as tracking number is provided. Return shipping is on behalf of the customer. Custom orders are NOT eligible for refunds or exchanges.

  • 1-7 days: Full Refund, excluding shipping charges 
  • 8-30 days: 25% restocking fee + (shipping charges will be deducted)
  • You have 30 days from receipt of the product(s) to return it. Item(s) that are beyond 30 days from that date will no longer be eligible for return or exchange. 
  • All products being returned must be in new (unused) condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.
  • You may choose for eCowhides to provide you with a Return Shipping Label for $14.99. (This option ONLY applies for orders placed within the US) You will need to contact us for additional information. 
  • NOTE: Orders with free shipping will be charged the original shipping fee paid by eCowhides. Shipping is not refundable.
  • NOTE: There is an option for a second chance to exchange (within 30 days of original order marked as delivered), item(s) are required to be returned within 7 days of the item(s) marked as delivered. If it has been over 7 days, the second exchange will be declined. Item(s) will still need to be packed securely as it was originally received and in new (unused) condition. (Policy timeframe starts the same day the package(s) are marked as delivered).*

Easy Exchange
 

If the color, size, or other details do not suit you and you wish to exchange the product, we undertake (on the condition that the returned product(s) are new, unused and in their original packaging) to honor the cost the shipping out the replacement item(s) for the exchange. The fastest way to ensure you get the item(s) that you want before it's sold out, would be to place a new order of the item(s) and we'll have the replacement order shipped out to you while the original is in the process of being returned. You will be reimbursed for the original order, excluding original shipping cost for domestic orders under $199 USD.* However, we do not return nor exchange custom items such as patchwork cowhides, except for damage caused by shipping. Return shipping is on behalf of the customer. eCowhides does not accept exchanges after 30 days of receiving the item(s).

We accept exchanges only if the item is received in new condition. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return the item by following the Return Instructions.

 What about used items?
Used products are not acceptable for a refund as we only sell brand new items to our customers. IF YOU RETURN THE PRODUCT(S) IN UNSALEABLE CONDITION we will ship the product back to you and will NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH A REFUND.

 

Return Eligibility Process
 

Once your return is received and inspected by our fulfillment centers (takes up to 10-14 days after receipt), we will contact you by phone or email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card. This credit will not include any original shipping charges, shipping is not refundable. You may also check the status of your refund by logging into your account and viewing your order history. We will email you a receipt confirming the credit.

Please note: Once we initiate the credit for your eCowhides.com return, the actual date that the refund is posted to your account is determined by the company which issued the original payment. Processing refunds will take about 1-3 business days to reflect in your account.


Damaged Or Defective Items

If you believe your product is damaged or defective, contact a Customer Service Representative within the first 7 days of delivery at 1.866.620.5913. Please send an photo of the item(s) to orders@ecowhides.com place your order number as the subject. You can find your order number on your packing slip or in original confirmation email. eCowhides.com will make every reasonable steps to assist you with your return.

If there is extensive damage to the box upon delivery, contact your Carrier's Customer Support Center with your tracking number to speak with a representative in regards to the matter at hand. eCowhide is not responsible for damage to the box upon delivery.
